Sailing Starts Saturday 13th April - come and join us at 1pm.

Aiming High is a powerboat which is completely wheelchair accessible, one of only eight in the country.  With her drop down front and comfortable cushions together with the wonderful all weather canopy (thanks to the  Lady Taverners) she is ready to go at any time of the year!

We are indebted to Bristol City Council through the Aiming High Initiative for the provision of this facility.

Have a look on the photo gallery  to see the moment she went in the water as well as the celebrations over her launch.

Please be aware that the maximum number of clients on the boat at any time is twelve. This may be lower if there are several wheelchairs to accomodate.  Each session is booked out at three hours - this includes the time taken to get passengers on and off the boat. The cost  for our sailability users  is £90 per session.

If you are an individual and would like a trip on Aiming High, there are two ways of going about it. Either get together with some friends and take the whole boat as detailed above, or come down to one of our Sailability sessions when you can access the boat for the usual sailability fee of £6. Please note that the time allocated to each individual on these sessions, depends on the number of people waiting to get on.  We try our hardest to make sure that everyone who wants to can have a trip on the boat. The boat leaves the wharf at 1.15pm promptly.

We need to know details of any medical conditions you might have so please ensure that the relevant form below has been filled in and sent to us prior to your trip.
